Cyber Security Analyst

This course covers the skills, tools, and tactics necessary to manage cybersecurity risks, identify various types of threats, evaluate the organization’s security, collect and analyze cybersecurity intelligence, and handle incidents as they occur. Students learn to analyze, plan, protect and carry out security measures to protect an organization’s computer networks, and hardware devices, from cybercriminals and hackers seeking to cause damage or steal sensitive information.

Different Work Settings:

Monitor organization’s networks for security breaches and investigate a violation when one occurs Install and use software, such as firewalls and data encryption programs, to protect sensitive information. Prepare reports that document security breaches and the extent of the damage caused by the breaches. Conduct penetration testing, which is when analysts simulate attacks to look for vulnerabilities in their systems before they can be exploited. Help computer users when they need to install or learn about new security products and procedures.

Duration: 80 Hours (8 Weeks)

This course prepares the student for the following exam: CompTIA CySA+ CS0-002
